What Norma is
Norma is a personal AI nutrition companion designed for people using GLP-1 medications such as Mounjaro, Ozempic, Wegovy, and Saxenda. Norma provides general nutrition guidance, meal suggestions, and behavioral support through conversation. By creating an account and using Norma, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
Not medical advice
Norma is not a medical professional, licensed dietitian, or healthcare provider. Nothing provided through this service constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Norma does not recommend medication dosages, advise on drug interactions, or substitute for professional medical care. You acknowledge that all nutrition guidance provided by Norma is general in nature and must not replace the advice of your doctor or qualified healthcare provider. Always consult your healthcare provider before making changes to your diet, medication, or health regimen.
AI limitations
Norma uses artificial intelligence to generate responses. AI-generated content may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or not applicable to your specific situation. You are solely responsible for how you interpret and act upon information provided by Norma. We make no representation that the information provided is accurate, current, or complete. You should exercise your own judgment and consult qualified professionals for all important health decisions.
Subscription and billing
Norma offers the following subscription plans:
- Monthly: $19.99 per month
- Annual: $119.99 per year (billed annually)
New users receive a 3-day free trial — no credit card required to start. After the trial period ends, a paid subscription is required to continue using the service. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Settings panel or through the Stripe customer portal. Upon cancellation, you retain access to Norma until the end of your current billing period. We do not issue refunds for partial billing periods or unused subscription time. Annual subscriptions are non-refundable after the initial 3-day trial period. You may resubscribe at any time.
Account deletion
You may delete your account at any time from the Settings panel. Deleting your account permanently removes all associated data, including your profile, conversation history, daily logs, and subscription records. This action is immediate and cannot be undone. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription — you must cancel your subscription separately before deleting your account to avoid further charges.
Email communications
By creating an account, you agree to receive service-related emails from Norma, including account verification, password reset, trial and subscription status notifications, re-engagement reminders, and weekly activity summaries. You may opt out of non-essential emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us at hello@iamnorma.com. Transactional emails required to deliver the service (such as account verification and billing notifications) cannot be disabled.
Acceptable use
You agree to use Norma solely for its intended purpose: personal nutrition guidance in the context of GLP-1 medication use. You agree not to: share your account with others, use automated tools or scripts to access the service, attempt to reverse-engineer or extract the underlying AI prompts or models, use the service to generate or distribute harmful content, or use Norma in any manner that violates applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations.
Disclaimer of warranties
Norma is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components. We do not warrant that the results obtained from using the service will be accurate, reliable, or meet your expectations. Your use of Norma is at your sole risk.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Norma and its operators, affiliates, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of — or inability to use — the service. This includes, without limitation:
- Any health outcomes resulting from following nutrition guidance provided by Norma
- Loss of data, revenue, or profits
- Interruptions to service availability
- Errors or inaccuracies in AI-generated content
- Unauthorized access to your account or data
In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the service exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or $100 USD, whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so the above limitations may not apply to you in full.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Norma and its operators, affiliates, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the Norma service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, you agree to submit to binding arbitration or the jurisdiction of the competent courts, as applicable under the laws of the region where Norma operates.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect, and update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of Norma after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the service and may cancel your subscription.
